Watsonx.data Milvus

Overview

Milvus is an open source software vector aware database available within the IBM WatsonX Data suite. Developed by Zilliz, Milvus is designed to store and manage large amounts of vector embeddings which are fundamental to AI and ML applications. Milvus supports various embedding models and enables both streaming and batch embedding uploads. This makes it a popular choice for applications like recommendation systems, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and other AI-driven tasks.
